Radio Haslar is on the lookout for new members and you could be just the kind of person we are looking for.

Do you have some spare time that we could put to good use, there are many aspects to running a successful hospital radio station which is why we are seeking volunteers to assist in the following areas:

Current Vacancies

Outside Broadcast Engineer

We are currently looking for a volunteer to assist our Outside Broadcast events.

The role will involve the rigging and de-rigging of broadcast equipment including transmission antennas as well as ensuring the smooth broadcast of transmissions back to the studio.

Flexibility is required as the day normally starts at about 7am with events finishing at around 4pm.

Please note that in line with our insurance requirements, applicants must be aged 16 or over.

Please note that 'On-Air' presenters are still required to actively help with fundraising throughout the year as a condition of membership.

Membership of Radio Haslar costs £17.00 per calendar year for 2009
