At 18:00 hours Sunday, 26 May, 2013 Sam Boothroyd introduced the hourly news bulletin before heading off home having completed 24 hours hosting the broadcast marathon event for Radio Haslar.

Sam interviewed a number of different Radio Haslar presenters throughout the 24 hours and through them heard how people had got involved with the station and the types of shows that they present to the patients and staff in the Gosport War Memorial Hospital.

Thank you Sam for hosting the marathon event; thank you to those presenters who were interviewed and help keep Sam awake, fed, and supplied with tea; and thank you to everyone who listened in and donated to the cause.
