Radio Haslar Takes To The Portsmouth Airwaves

As from Tuesday August 15th 2006 Radio Haslar began broadcasting to not only the wards of the Royal Hospital Haslar but to the whole of the Portsmouth area in a joint venture with Express FM

This joint venture sees Radio Haslar take over the Express FM programme schedule for 2 hours each week meaning we really will be bringing Gosport Closer To You.

This is great news for both patients and their friends and family alike as not only will the patients be able listen to their requests in hospital, but their friends and family will also be able to share in the experience.

Radio Haslar will broadcast every Tuesday evening beginning at 8pm with a 'live' request show hosted by Radio Haslar's Howard Hale, followed at 9pm by Ian McGuiness.  Patients can tune in on the usual Radio Haslar headset channel numbers and those not in hospital can tune their radios to 93.7 FM or listen online at expressfm.com
